Mojo joins the Newcastle office

We were honored to play a part in this year’s Great North Snowdogs Trail with our sponsorship of ‘Mojo’ and a litter of smaller pups to support of St Oswald’s Children’s Hospice, a local charity that  has been providing dignified and compassionate care for children with incurable conditions, as well as their families, across the North East for over 30 years.

The event ended in style at the Grand Auction on December 6 where all 61 individually-designed Snowdogs sculptures – each a unique piece of art – were auctioned off drawing competion from attendees and online bidders. We were successful in our bid to bring Mojo home following his nine-week stint on the trail in Gateshead Metro Station. Mojo, a robotic version of the Snowdog was designed by Sumit Sarkar, a visual artist inspired by Sci-fi.

Following the auction, Jane Hogan, Great North Snowdogs project lead for St Oswald’s Hospice, said: “The response to this trail has been beyond anything we could ever have imagined. People of all ages and from all parts of the country took the Snowdogs to their hearts and their generosity has been truly humbling.”

You can watch the entire auction night here. We also encourage you to check out the St Oswald’s Hospice site to learn more about their mission, work, and other fundraising events.
