With January (and Affiliate Summit West) behind us, we thought we’d look ahead to this year’s other important conferences that are relevant for affiliate and partner marketers. Every year, there is a plethora of “must-attend” marketing events with which you could fill your entire calendar from January to December. Depending on your marketing specialty or niche, it can be tough to figure out which ones will deliver the most value to you in exchange for your time. 

12 Must Attend Conferences for Partner Marketers in 2019-1

We’ve compiled this list of events with great relevance to affiliate and partner marketers or senior marketers with interest in our channels. While not an exhaustive list of the year's events, these are ones we'll be at and they represent good starting point for global marketers. Whether you’re looking to expand your knowledge, learn from the best in the industry, see the latest innovative technology up close and personal, and/or network, these are great places to say hello.

eTtail West    
February 19 - 22, 2019
JW Marriott, Palm Springs, CA

The first of the two annual eTail conferences, eTail West kicks off the year in Palm Springs. From its start in 1999, eTail has become the event of the year for multi-channel retail innovators. Promoting a community of retailers, this event is full of content that can be personalized to give attendees the chance to meet people who have similar eCommerce goals. Shoptalk 
March 3-6, 2019
The Venetian, Las Vegas, NV

Shoptalk is “where the entire retail ecosystem comes together to create the future of retail based on the latest trends, technologies and business models, including changes in consumer expectations.” The event brings together over 8,000 attendees from over 50 countries. See the full agenda here.

Affiliate Summit Europe
March 12-14, 2019
The Rai, Amsterdam

Affiliate Summit Europe is a European edition of the Affiliate Summit Conferences. The conference moves from London to Amsterdam this year, and will open with the Affiliate Summit Meet Market on day one, followed by the two-day Exhibit Hall and conference; both will be packed with affiliates, merchants, vendors, networks, technology providers, digital agencies, and traffic sources.

iMedia Online Retail Summit: Australia
April 29 - May 1, 2019

Mumbrella Awards

The Star, Sydney

Billed as Australia and New Zealand’s most respected media & marketing awards, the Mumbrella Awards return in 2019 with 30 categories covering media, marketing, advertising, PR and production. With over 900 people attending the awards ceremony at The Star in Sydney in 2018, winning a Mumbrella Award puts brands in the industry spotlight.

The Online Retailer Conference & Expo consists of two days filled with cutting-edge ecommerce insights, the latest trends, tech innovation, retail solutions, workshops, and networking. The event also features the Australia Post Online Retail Industry Awards, which will take place on July 25 and celebrate the successes across the Australian retail industry.

Dmexco

Dmexco is not specific to the affiliate or partner channel but it is one of the biggest international digital trade shows and a worthwhile event to hear about the tech trends which are now defining the digital economy. It’s not for the faint at heart, boasting more brands, agencies, media, and tech players than any other trade show, with 41K attendees from 95 countries in 2018.
